Axara Video Converter is a program used mainly for converting different video files. But it can also do many other things, like downloading videos from YouTube (or other similar web pages), editing videos, and burning DVDs.
It has a very user-friendly interface, and I personally like that each button has an image caption as well as a text one. Also, you can change the interface theme of the program; there are four different options available: blue, black, aqua, and silver style. Axara also includes a simple movie editor with which you can cut or insert different parts of a video. You can also take a snapshot of a video frame and save it in BMP, JPEG, PNG, or GIF format. The audio track can also be saved separately.
When you're converting videos, you can join multiple files or split them (by size for example). On the right side of the window, you find a preview area, which is very useful during the conversion process. On the whole, as far as the output goes, the program is extremely handy. For instance, if you want to put a video on a certain mobile phone, the program shows you the formats compatible with that phone. It offers presets for iPod, DVD, PlayStation, Xbox, and other devices; I find this very useful because one never knows all the compatible formats for each device.
All in all, Axara Video Converter a reliable tool and it does the job.
